That’s it for that week. I picked up a few niggles this week so am looking forward to catching up with Sarah Connors and Sam Murphy on Saturday. My right leg is giving me some pain – I think I must have banged it. It seems okay but is sore to the tough, just under the bone.

Sunday’s 12 miles was miserable. I was happy to get out into the sunshine but found the whole run an effort. I felt sick at 8.5 miles – almost to the point that I thought I’d have to stop. Anyhow I remembered a gel in my pocket so I took it. This seemed to help.
