Several times a week I set out from the house on a run. It could be 5 or 10k depending on how my legs are feeling. This Sunday after a two week rest I decided to run up what we call ‘Cwm Hill’
It’s quite steep. In fact it’s not just steep it’s very long. Never mind – no pain no gain. So I ran it.
It’s now Wednesday evening and my legs are in agony. My shin muscles are sore and my thigh muscles are aching – despite massaging them last night with a foam roller.
Still I enjoyed it and am going to do it again over the weekend. It’s the only way to improve.
