Week 1 – Review:
Started well with good runs on the Tuesday and Thursday. Weekend runs didn’t happen due to family commitments – but there we are. The hill repeats on Thursday we good – I always enjoy them. Speed work on Tuesday was tough as I’m not quite at that level of fitness yet.

Week 2 Training:
So onto week 2 and as my plan is a 16 week and there are 17 weeks to go I will be re-doing the week 1 schedule. Here is a reminder of the plan:
WEEK TWO (approx 20M)
- Mon Rest
- Tues 4M with middle 2M at 10k pace (approx 9 min miling)
- Wed Rest
- Thu 4M including 6 x 20 second hill reps with walk recoveries between each.
- Fri Rest
- Sat 9M very easy
- Sun 3M easy (on grass or trails)
