This week so far: The Black Mountain

The first attempt was on a Saturday morning and I went half way – 5Km uphill.

  • Details: 5.2Km uphill along the lovely road that takes people over the Black Mountain. It was a gorgeous day – took a drink with me. Stopped twice as I didn’t realise how tough it would be in the hear.

Second attempt was on a Wednesday evening with a friend.

  • Distance: 16.60km
  • Details: A massive run – the longest I’ve completed so far this year at just over 10 miles. Took just two hours which sets me up nicely for a 2.5 hour half marathon.
